What’s New for 2014
NEW Mandatory Harvest Reporting Requirements Remember that new mandatory harvest reporting requirements are in effect this year. If you held a 2013-2014 deer, elk, antelope or turkey license, the deadline to file a free report is February 15th, 2014. After this date, an $8 late fee will apply, but you MUST report before the March 19th application deadline or you will be rejected from the big game draw. If you hold a 2013-2014 barbary sheep, javelina, oryx, ibex, or trapper license, the deadline to report is April 7th, 2014. License holders must file a report, even if they didn’t hunt or trap. Failure to file your mandatory harvest report on time will result in rejection of all big game applications. New Application Purchase Options New Mexico residents may select a Second-Rod validation when purchasing the Game-hunting & Fishing License.
