Draw application opens for pheasant, Sandhill crane permits

July 15 @ 10:00 am - August 12 @ 5:00 pm

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will begin accepting applications for draw Sandhill crane and pheasant permits beginning July 16 at 10 a.m. Applications can be made through your online account or by phone at 888-248-6866. The application deadline for draw Sandhill crane and pheasant permits is Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 5 p.m.

Aug. 12 is the deadline to apply for pheasant and Sandhill crane draw permits. Applications must be completed by 5 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). Applications can be made through your online account or by phone at 888-248-6866.

Results for pheasant and Sandhill crane draw permits will be available online at https://onlinesales.wildlife.state.nm.us, by telephone at 888-248-6866, or at New Mexico Department of Wildlife offices on Aug. 19. Permits can be printed on standard paper after the appropriate license(s) is/are purchased.

Hunter Education Instructor Coffee Talk

Waterfowl Hunting Workshop

August 30 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The New Mexico Department of Wildlife, in conjunction with Roadrunner Hunting Retriever Club, will host a beginner adult waterfowl hunting workshop at the Department's Northwest Area Office in Albuquerque on Sunday, Aug. 30.
