If you have some experience shooting shotguns and want to try something different, then come out and try glow-in-the-dark clay-target shooting with the New Mexico Department of Wildlife. The Department will set up black lights on the trap field, and you will get to shoot clay targets as they glow under the lights. This shoot will take place on a safe, controlled shotgun range with a certified range safety officer. The Department will loan shotguns and will provide 20-gauge ammunition, targets, eye protection and ear protection. Shooting will begin around 8 p.m., once it is dark enough for the clays to glow. You may bring your own shotgun if you would like.
