Warmwater Fishing Workshop

The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will host a beginner Warmwater Fishing Workshop at the Las Cruces Game and Fish office on Sunday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Participants will learn fishing techniques, fish identification, necessary gear, rules and regulations, terminal tackle, knot tying and casting. Open to adults with little or no warmwater fishing experience.
Registration Details:
- Registration will open at 8 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2026. It will close when the workshop is full.
- This workshop is free and open for adults age 18 and older.
