NMDGF will partner with United Wold College at Storrie Lake with a high school economics class. Students will explore sustainable economic growth and development and spend the afternoon at Storrie Lake learning about fishing. The students will go through interactive onboarding segment that provides a high-level overview of angling essentials tailored to the age group of the participants. Topics covered include fish species/anatomy, habitat, diet, understanding fishing gear, tying knots, safety and so on. Following that segment, participants will immediately put their new-found knowledge to practice.
