The department will present its initial proposals for the 2018-22 upland game seasons, including dates and bag limits, to the State Game Commission at its May 11 meeting at the Community Center on Air Park Road in at the Municipal Airport in Clayton. Proposals for the 2017-18 migratory bird hunting season including dates and bag limits can be seen on the department website, www.wildlife.state.nm.us. The department works with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Central and Pacific Flyway Councils to formulate proposals. Proposals are not considered final until they have been published in the Federal Register.
