The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at the Marriott Pyramid North’s Taos Room, 5151 San Francisco Road NE, Albuquerque. Other agenda items include: Report of wildlife complaints and resolutions from fiscal-year 2017. Approval to exchange New Mexico antelope for Gould’s turkeys from Mexico. Consideration of proposed legislative initiatives for the 2018 legislative session. The department will present its initial proposals for the 2018-22 upland game seasons, including dates and bag limits, to the State Game Commission at its May 11 meeting at the Community Center on Air Park Road in at the Municipal Airport in Clayton. Comments about upland game rules can be emailed to casey.cardinal@state.nm.us or sent by postal mail to Casey Cardinal, New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, P.O. Box 25112, Santa Fe, N.M. 87504.
