A fishing clinic will be held for G.E.O. Nature Co-Op at Elephant Butte Reservoir from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants between 3-16 years old will spend the day at Elephant Butte Reservoir, where they will go through an interactive onboarding segment that provides a high-level overview of angling essentials tailored to the age group of the participants. Topics covered include fish species/anatomy, habitat, diet, understanding fishing gear, tying knots, safety and so on. Following that segment, participants will immediately put their newfound knowledge into practice. This event is closed to the public.
