Adult Cold-Water Beginner Fishing Class
October 20 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Class offered to adults (over 18) who have limited or no fishing experience. Please do not register if you are an experienced angler, are under 18 years of age or have previously attended this class. Participants will learn how to cast, fish identification, fishing techniques, equipment and gear, knot tying, and rules and regulations. We won’t be fishing, but attendees will learn everything necessary to catch Kokanee salmon, brook trout, brown trout, Gila trout, rainbow trout and Rio Grande cutthroat trout. Non-mandatory, but participants can bring the following: their own rod and reel, and a New Mexico fishing license.
- Would like women and men over 18 years of age who have limited or no fishing experience.
