The camp is open to youth ages 10 to 17 who are accompanied by a registered adult. It will be conducted the weekend of June 22-24, at the Boy Scout’s Camp Tres Ritos near Mora. Meals are free and participants will tent-camp on the property. Registration for this opportunity opens May 23. This year’s tournament drew 906 archers, surpassing last year’s record attendance number of 840. “Archery is gaining popularity as a competitive sport among New Mexico’s students,” said Brian Guzman, archery coordinator for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. “Our department is proud to support young archers and encourage their interest in this challenging extracurricular activity.
