Once in the account\, click on Hunter Education\, then click the Register for Hunter Ed Classes button and follow the prompts. \nWhat do I need for class: \n\nObtain a copy of the hunter education student manual by picking up a hard copy by contacting Sheila Keeling at 505-716-8461\, or download a free electronic manual from www.hunter-ed.com/newmexico/manual/.\nComplete the worksheets from the student manual. Worksheets can be printed from the website listed above OR completed on pages 91-94 in the back of the hard copy student manual.\nThere are no fees associated with Department hunter education courses; however\, donations may be offered to volunteers to help offset out-of-pocket expenses to put on the course.\nBring a sack lunch\, snacks and drinks.\nStudents will be outdoors for portions of the class\, so please dress accordingly.\n\nSpecial notes: \n\nStudent worksheets must be 100% complete prior to class or students will not be allowed to participate in the course (no exceptions).\nDO NOT bring firearms or ammunition to the course. Firearms are provided.\nStudents MUST attend all course sessions. DESCRIPTION:This workshop is required to become a certified hunter education instructor and will certify the individual to teach both the Traditional and the Field Day Hunter Education student courses. \nThis workshop also provides a NM Hunter Education certification to new instructors who need a required NM hunter education number. \nAll participants must register prior to attending. Please see registration details below. \nInterested applicants need to first become a certified Game and Fish volunteer. Below are the steps to become a certified volunteer: \n1. Create a Customer Identification Account (CIN) with the Department at https://onlinesales.wildlife.state.nm.us/ \n2. Email Storm Usrey\, Conservation Education Manager\, at stormw.usrey@dgf.nm.gov for volunteer application.                                                                                         \n3.Once the application is approved\, certified volunteers can sign-up for the hunter education workshop through their CIN account         \n
