DESCRIPTION:A fishing day will be held for James Bickley’s third-grade classes 1\, 2 and 3 at Greene Acres Lake. Participants will take what they learned in their classroom talks and put it to the test in a hands-on fishing experience where they’ll explore and connect with all things fishing and grow their outdoor passion. Classrooms and chaperones will rotate between fishing and an interactive casting game where they will learn about New Mexico fishing species and records. We will expand a bit on technique\, understanding baits and bites\, catch and release\, and other aspects of sustainable fishing. This event is closed to the public.
