SUMMARY:Small Game Hunting Camp
DESCRIPTION:The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish in conjunction with New Mexico Outdoor Adventures will host a beginner family Small Game Hunting Camp\, at El Caso Forest Service campground\, near Quemado Lake\, on September 26-28\, 2025. Campers will be provided with everything from instruction to gear to meals. Campers will need to provide their own hunting licenses\, tent or wheeled camper\, sleeping bag\, and sleeping pad. We will have a reserved group camping area at the campground. Open to families with little or no hunting experience and have never hunted squirrels. \nRegistration will open at 8 am on Monday\, September 8\, 2025. It will close when the camp is full. Please only register if you have not previously attended this camp. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
