DESCRIPTION:The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will host a beginner Waterfowl Hunting Workshop at the Department’s Northwest Area office at 7816 Alamo Road NW in Albuquerque. This will take place Sunday\, Aug. 24\, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Participants will learn hunting techniques\, waterfowl identification\, necessary gear\, rules and regulations\, locations and calls. Open to adults with little or no waterfowl hunting experience. \nRegistration will open at 8 a.m. on Monday\, Aug. 11\, 2025. It will close when the workshop is full.
